At Freeman’s Endowed (C of E) Academy we aim to provide all our children with the best possible education in preparation for secondary school and beyond. With this in mind we are developing our curriculum to further meet the needs of our children. We have chosen to implement the Cornerstones curriculum as we believe it will enable us to create a stimulating,
engaging and aspirational curriculum for all.

Cornerstones provides us with a curriculum linked to the national curriculum and covering the key skills that the children need to master in Key Stage 2. Each year group will undertake six integrated learning projects during the academic year. These integrated learning projects are broken down into four distinct sections. These are:
